In all the conversations I’ve ever had with this guy, it has never failed that I’ve always learned something profound about love, life, and men. This is just one of them gems of knowledge. I’ll miss you Niko! T_T
…It’s a good thing there’s always YM ^__^
HOW TO SPRUCE UP YOUR INSTANT RAMEN
This was inspired by a photo posted by AKANE-X
If you have time & you’re starting to get bored with the generic ramen in a pack, here’s how you can make it a little more interesting…
You will need:
Step 1: Follow the cooking instruction on the Ramen pack
Step 2: When the noodles are cooked (approximately 3 mins) add your chopped onion leaks and drop in 1 egg. You have to be careful when adding the egg so as not to break the yolk…trust me, you want the egg yolk whole! Just soft boil the egg and try not to cook it through. When the whites start to form you can take it off the heat.
**I don’t like to fully cook the egg yolk ‘coz I like eating the whole yolk and having it burst in my mouth. I promise, it will definitely add to your whole ramen eating experience ,-p
Step 3: Line the side of your soup bowl with nori strips. Pour in your cooked ramen. Be very careful in scooping out the egg into the bowl (again, you want your egg yolk whole). Once you’ve filled your bowl you can add in more onion leaks for garnish, or smaller strips of Nori.
**You can add in the egg after you’ve cooked the ramen and placed it in your bowl, the hot water should be enough to cook your egg if you want it kinda “runny” ^__^
**You can add sesame oil to add to the flavor and aroma of your ramen.
**You can also add in some carrots or cabbage strips if you’d like more veggies in your soup; and for meat, maybe a slice of ham (or SPAM!) as seen here
Enjoy! Itedakimasu! ^__^
I grew up in a time when 3D entertainment meant Puppets. I remember being spellbound by the creatures from the Jim Hensons puppet shop. I loved planting my face three feet away from the screen and just getting lost in the mysteries and fairy tales. I am intensely excited about the new upcoming Muppets Movie!!!
My boyfriend probably won’t want to watch this so I’m seeking out a like-hearted sympathetic friend who wouldn’t mind sitting through a couple hours of watching hand operated plushies with me??? Any Takers?
One of my good old friends scribbled & doodled this in one of my old notebooks. I love notebooks. I love collecting them & I always take one with me whenever I leave home so I can take note of all the random crap that goes through my head. I also write down anything (ideas, names, movies, book titles, things to try, etc) that interests me. When I’m bored I also sometimes find myself doodling in them.
I just found this page interesting ‘coz it sort of described who I was back then. I kinda miss one of my best friends who nicknamed me krung-krung :(
Got this in an email from one of my best girly friends. We haven’t been seeing much of each other lately and it feels so awesome to get a hug from someone you love…even if it’s a virtual hug (I guess this is where the adage “it’s the thought that counts” plays in ,-p) I LOVE YOU CHELLEYSTRIP!
Guys always surprise you when you least expect it.
My new bunny necklace from Popo. I figured I’d stop caring about celebrating monthsarys since he never really gives much importance to it. He surprised me this month though, so sweet! I love it! It’s so cute! He made an effort to look for a nice elephant pendant too. Awww…He’s learning ^___^
*I’ll try to get a better macro shot later.
**It’s always a good idea to give jewelry to your girlfriends ,-p
Me as a mermaid ^__^ Ink by Krinkle, coloring by me.
STUFFING MY FACE WITH CUPCAKES!

So awesome having very generous friends.

HOW CAN YOU INSPIRE CHANGE?
It doesn’t have to be anything big. The simplest thing you can think of to better the world you live in should make a big difference. Anything to save the environment, anything that could raise awareness on ongoing environmental, social, or political issues, anything that could help someone in need. Little things! Giving a stranger a sincere smile, saving on water, saving on electricity…little things that can make a big impact in the long run. It doesn’t have to be just on July 18th, alone. Try to make it a daily habit. Remember the movie Pay It Forward? I’m working on my 5 random selfless acts…hope we can all help out in some way. Check out the website to get some ideas. Hope you have a wonderful experience with inspiring change and making a difference. ^__^
I was browsing through the best seller shelves at Fully Booked Taguig while waiting for my ride after running some cupcake errands when I saw this bumper edition. I wanted so bad to buy it but my ride arrived a little to early for me to make the purchase. Also, I was thinking twice ‘coz I wasn’t sure if this was “age appropriate,” haha! But the pages were so cute I couldn’t resist! I’m going to the nearest bookstore tomorrow to look for it ,-)
